Fathers day and Brayden's first trip to the coast

We spent fathers day weekend down in port aransas and what a special weekend being Brian's first fathers day!! We spent time with Brians parents and sister Christi and of course all of the dogs. Us girls spent Saturday fishing in a powder puff fishing tournament and came out empty-handed but we had alot of fun! Brian stayed back at the condo and spent the day with his babies. Check out the picture that our captain
(Brians dad Eddie) took of us girls...

Patti, Christi, and Debbie 3rd annual powder puff tourney (and third year not making it to weigh in!!!!)
Hard to tell that we are even in the picture being that I think he was more worried about getting a good shot of his new boat, haha!!   Brian and Eddie tried again on Sunday and came back with a couple of keepers.  Anyway, it was a great weekend getting away and spending time with family. Brayden enjoyed his first trip of many to port A though it was too hot for him to leave the condo! Maybe next time we will venture out and introduce him to the pool! Well, happy fathers day Brian. You are such an amazing dad and it is so much fun watching the two of you together! Brayden is truly lucky to have you as his dad and we will be lucky if he turns out to be anything like his daddy! We love you!!

Newborn Pictures

Here are Brayden's newborn photos taken when he was just nine days old.  The photographer that we used likes to get them in early when their umbilical cord is still hangin on.  It is hard to believe that Brayden was ever this small and that he is growing SO fast!! He has already almost doubled his weight since these pictures were taken. Brayden was in the nude all morning for these pictures and we definitely went through several blankets and towels cleaning up all his little messes!  It is a good thing Brian had an extra shirt in his car because I had to wear it home and take my tank home in a little plastic bag along with all the other soiled garments!  It is amazing how cooperative newborn babies can be and will mold to any position you put them in.  We had a blast getting these pictures taken and just looked on in awe of our sweet new son.  Enjoy!

I love the look on his face here

One of my favorites!!!

I am pretty sure this is right before he filled up daddy's glove with a wet mess!!!

I love the almost grin in this one, this is the picture that we ordered a huge one of to put in his baseball themed nursery.

This just melts my heart :)

Look at this little tiny body and head!

Our new little family, we had just made it through our first week of being parents!
