Christmas 2014

Each year as the kids get a little bit older, Christmas is that much more fun!  The anticipation was so exciting for Brayden this year and Sterling was able to enjoy Christmas morning and opening presents this year!

Christmas Eve we made and decorated sugar cookies for Santa and went to Christmas Eve mass with Grandpa, GaGa, Papa, Christi, and Keith.

Santa came!!!  Brayden's favorite gifts this year were his big boy bike and his big remote control truck.  Sterling's favorite was her new car so she can ride around the house like Brayden!

Chandlers first Christmas, she spent most of the morning lounging!

Hard to know who was most excited for this!

Time to play!!!  It was so funny to Brian and I as the kids were opening their gifts so slowly, they just wanted to play with each of them and it took a while to get them all opened!

Race around the world!  We all love these cars!

Remote control truck!

Around lunch time we headed over to GaGa and PaPa's house to spend the rest of the day.  We ate, opened presents, played, and just enjoyed each other.  Such a blessing to have so much great family nearby!

Oh how I'll miss this!  That little paci just hangin  on the edge of her barely opened mouth as she has just fallen asleep!

The kids loved their new sleeping bags from Aunt Christi!

And as the day came to an end, lots of snuggles and maybe a few nappers here and there!

Whew, what a couple of long and eventful days!  We'll be at home recovering, resting, and playing with our new toys for the next few days if anyone needs us!

December 2014

We started out the month of December with a bang and spent the weekend with the Jouffrays down in Port Aransas.  It was unseasonably warm and the perfect time to be down at the beach.  We pretty much had the entire beach to ourselves so the kids were able to just run wild!  This was Chandlers first visit to the beach although I wore her the entire time so she didn't get much sand and sun this trip!
Me with all three of my babes!

Sterling was pretty hesitant and did not spend much time in/near the water

But of course she tried the sand!

And realized it was disgusting!!!
Brayden and Dylan had the best time.  They ran and ran and ran in and out of the water and were just soaked from head to toe!  It was a warmish day but still the water was a bit cold for my taste, they didn't seem to mind one bit!  It was so much fun to watch them play and listen to them squeal with delight!

Brayden crashed hard during nap time!

Sweet Dylan asked Sterling if she wanted her to read her a book!

These three!!! Cuties!

We even braved a dinner out with ALL of us, it was interesting for sure!!!
We all had such a fun weekend and can't wait to go back!!!

Brayden had his Christmas program at Concordia and it was just as cute as always!  There is just something so sweet and special about hearing young children sing Christmas songs and we always enjoy it so much.

"The little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head"

Chandler slept through the performance...

Braydens usual cheering section!

When the performance was over, Sterling couldn't wait to get on stage!

Sterling enjoyed her cupcake...shocker!

It's funny, some days the kids don't even notice Chandler is there and other days they are just so fascinated by her!

Sterling just can't figure out why there is no milk coming out!!!!HaHa!!!
We sure have enjoyed our Christmas tree this month and have it lit up whenever we are home!  The kids are always taking ornaments off and rearranging.

BEDHEAD at its finest! Ha!
Halley and Carson, Aunt Laura, and Uncle Brandon got to come meet Chandler for the first time and celebrate Christmas with us.  Grandma and Grandpa came too so it was so much fun and felt so festive to have everyone around during the holidays!

Cousins!!!
The kids loved the Christmas lights out at Don Strange Ranch and dinner with Gaga and Papa, and Aunt Christi!

They also always love spending time at GaGa and PaPas house over the holidays and especially love helping Gaga make gingerbread men!!!

Looking forward to a fun and eventful Christmas!
