Chandler's first month

It has already been a month since our sweet Chandler's birth, here is what baby girl has been up to her first four weeks of life:

*She is such a noisy little thing!  She grunts, groans, squirms, and seems generally uncomfortable after being fed.  She does not go right to sleep after eating, instead she makes noise for about 45 minutes before poor thing finally falls asleep... I cut all dairy from my diet and that did not seem to help.  Doctor has diagnosed her with reflux and I hate to do it but we have started giving it to her twice a day.  So far we have not noticed a difference, maybe it will take a couple of weeks to kick in.

Here she is at her first doctors appt, five days old

With Dr. Wilke and an astronaut photo bomber!
*Chandler is a typical newborn and really just eats and sleeps a lot with very little wake time in between, we are already on a little 2 1/2-3 hour schedule with her eating and sleeping cycle which seems like a pretty natural schedule for us.

Eat, Sleep, Repeat....

A little nappy on Daddy

*Brayden and Sterling have adjusted well to having a new baby around.  Brayden took to her, loved, and wanted to protect her from the beginning.  Sterling was a little clingy and fussy for a couple of days but that was over pretty quick.  We can't leave Chandler lying around on the floor or anywhere really because it is just too dangerous with these two crazies running around!!!

Sterling spent a lot of time here by her crib the first couple of weeks

Sterling's first time to hold Chandler, I love how excited she looks here!
Thought this was a funny one!
Brayden's turn!
We had a lot of visitors, sadly I didn't think to take a picture with most!  I think Chandler's favorites were the ones that are her size!
With her pretty friend Hollis...Don't they look so happy?!  LOL!
Chandler got to meet her sweet friend "baby Faith"
Aunt Chris meeting Chandler for the first time
Ms Sarah getting a snuggle with our tiny girl
A month has come and gone, looking forward to watching this sweet girl grow (and hopefully sleep many consecutive hours through the night:))

October 2014

What an exciting month October was with the birth of our sweet Chandler!  Here are some pictures of what we were up to this October:

BC (Before Chandler :))

Baby's car seat installed, check!  Rolling three deep in the second row, are we crazy?!?!
These two are always playing together these days, just love hearing their little "conversations"!

GO COWBOYS!  Brayden loves watching football, it is hilarious to hear him yelling at the tv when he watches

Sterling still loves her babies

Buddy is still doing great in his swim lessons although his coach has had to get on him and be a little stern with him when he goofs around and plays with the other kids too much!

Hide and Go Seek is still one of our favorite games around here

Along with rides on Daddy!

I just love this one for some reason, I guess I really love how close they are just sitting and relaxing together

Little did we know this would be our LAST family pic as a family of four!!!!

 AC (After Chandler)

The Saturday after we had Chandler, Brayden had an 8:00 am soccer game which I sadly missed (the only game I missed!) He is doing so great in Soccer though, I think this game he scored 6 goals!  He loves to run and play and especially "knock ppl over!!!"  Uh-oh! :)
After the soccer game, Daddy and Brayden came and picked us girls up and we went to our friend Lauren's birthday party at Fiesta Farm.  They always have the best parties there!  Sterling got to ride a horse for the first time, she was a little hesitant at first but seemed to enjoy herself.  Brayden wanted no part in riding horses this time, he said he only rides horses, not ponies...Hmmm...

And my kid's favorite part of any birthday party, the treats of course!!!

Of course we had to get some pumpkins painted for Halloween

Yes, Brayden is naked...again!  This child LIVES naked, he literally walks in the door  and strips down every single day!

SO I have to be creative with my camera angles!

My two "bigs" are getting a lot of QT with each other now that I am spending so much time nursing Chandler:

Listening to Brayden read to Sterling is just the sweetest sound

Sterling just loves real babies too, here she is with baby Hollis
Where's Sterling?
BOO!

I love this, Brian was changing light bulbs in the living room and the kids were in awe of how high he was!

HaHa!

My first outing with all three kids...HEB!  Can you see Chandlers car seat in the cart leaving absolutely no room for groceries?!  Time to get creative!

And because pup never gets any attention anymore!  Mia has taken a liking to the boppy, she fits perfectly in the little hole!

Halloween 2014

What a fun Halloween!  I'm really not sure who had more fun, me or the kids!  We were all just all smiles the entire afternoon :)  Brayden was very passionate about what Halloween costume he wanted this year so it was extra fun for him to dress up in his ninja turtle costume.  Since Sterling didn't really care or have an opinion we just borrowed a cute costume for a friend that worked out just perfect.  We started out with friends at our annual little block party and then headed out for trick or treating.  It didn't take long for the kids to get it figured out and once they did they were pros going from house to house.  It was such a fun evening and the kids came home with way too much candy!  We were so thankful to have Brians parents (GaGa and PaPa) come over to our house to stay with 12 day old Chandler so we could go celebrate Halloween with the big kids.

Family golf cart ride over to the party

Brayden and some of his most favorite friends!

I just loved hearing their sweet little voices saying "twick or tweet" and the way Sterling says "tank you"

GaGa with Chandler

Gotta love these action shots...

Cruising home with all of their goodies :)

Holidays must have been so boring before we had kids...Such a fun Halloween, now looking forward to the rest of the upcoming holidays!!!
